The batting average against left-handed hitters is lower than that of Chung. He has a batting average of just .289 with 67 runs (one hit in 15 times at bat).

Both players have become indispensable resources in Lotte's bullpen. Until now, Lotte had tried to catch left-handed hitters by using right-handed pitchers when there was no left-handed bullpen.
