'Last place → 3rd place' I didn't know the effect of training would be this much..."Jeong Hyun-soo and Song Jae-young" Lotte bullpen has two left-handed winners

Will training at a Japanese sister team and a Japanese training center be this effective for about three weeks.

In addition to Chung Cheol-won, left-hander bullpen pitchers such as Chung Hyeon-soo (24) and Song Jae-young (23) are holding firm this season. All clubs say it is difficult to find a left-hander, but Lotte was particularly thirsty for left-hander. To quench this thirst, Lotte recruited Lim Joon-seop, a left-hander who was released last year, and gave up the right to nominate a rookie to the LG Twins and brought veteran Jin Hae-soo in a trade. 토토사이트

However, this did not completely quench his thirst for left-handedness. The hope is that two left-handed players, Chung Hyun-soo and Song Jae-young, appeared in the first division last year, and started to impress the first division coaching staff including head coach Kim Tae-hyung. After steadily preparing for the second division, he had been adapting to the first division.

After the regular season, they prepared for the off-season according to their respective clubs' plans. Along with right-hander fireball prospect Lee Min-seok, Chung was dispatched to the Chiba Lotte Marines' first-team wrap-up camp for his Japanese sister team. Song Jae-young also returned from training for about three weeks at a training center called "Next Base Athletic Lab" in Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, with right-hander Park Joon-woo.

The fruits are bearing fruit. Both Chung and Song have never been excluded from the entry since they joined the opening entry for the first division. As Chung became coach Kim Tae-hyung's "Anicole," he is being put under the spotlight in situations where he needs to win, while Song Jae-young is also being put under the spotlight when he has to deal with left-handed hitters, although he is not in a situation as significant as Chung. When it comes to rankings, Chung is being picked first, followed by Song.

However, they are displaying stellar performances that match their roles. Chung has posted an ERA of 2.70 (three earned runs in 10 innings) with 15 strikeouts and seven walks in 17 appearances, the most in the league, this season. He has a batting average against left-handed hitters at 185, five hits in 27 times at bat, and a mere 555 for the POPS. He showed off his overwhelming performance against left-handed hitters this season, giving up only three walks against the first 18 batters and recording no hits in 15 at-bats.

Song is also displaying robust performance. He has posted an earned run average of 1.50 (one earned run in six innings) with one hold in 13 games. He had no run in all of his recent seven games. The batting average against left-handed hitters is lower than that of Chung. He has a batting average of just .289 with 67 runs (one hit in 15 times at bat).

Both players have become indispensable resources in Lotte's bullpen. Until now, Lotte had tried to catch left-handed hitters by using right-handed pitchers when there was no left-handed bullpen. However, it has not been easy. The relief team had a hit rate against left-handed hitters last year at a whopping 301 percent and an OPS of .825. It was the team that performed the worst against left-handed hitters in the bullpen in the league.

This year, however, is not the best year for sure, but he has made great strides. Currently, Lotte's bullpen pitcher lineup ranks third with a batting average of 2337 against left-handed hitters, and fifth with a batting average of .705. It is thanks to Chung Hyun-soo and Song Jae-young, who have grown one step further and returned.

Two left-handed pitchers have helped manager Kim Tae-hyung manage the pitchers as well. Some criticize him for playing left and right, but if his performance matches his performance, the voices of criticism will inevitably decrease. The growth of Chung and Song Jae-young has quenched Lotte's thirst for left-handedness for a long time.
